Take a step back in time and visit Queensland's 1st. Historic National Park.

Gentle walking tours of approximately 3 kilometers through this flora and fauna bird haven with our fully experienced tour guides/researchers or actors who will bring this mostly forgotten island alive with true tales of the men who built, lived or died on this notorious island prison.

Visiting the prisoners and warders children's cemetery, sugar mill, lime kiln, blacksmith, kitchen, cell block, warders row ruins and (1st. class museum day tours only).

All tour prices (Day and ghost tour) includes return boat cruise with on board commentary, 2-3 hour fully guided tour, park entry fees.

On board catering available upon request or B.Y.O. food.

Comfortable flat shoes, insect repellent, hats, sunscreen, bottled water, torches optional.

Hear tragic true tales of the many lost lives from suicide and many horrific causes of death inflicted on these inmates and children in a bygone era.

The 2 hour tour includes stockade ruins.   There is no museum tour available during the eerie night tour.

Dinner package available on board the vessels and full bar service is available.

Departure times from Manly or Hamilton are 6.30pm returning 11.30pm approx.

DEPARTURES

 
Manly Harbour departure point:-   30 minutes travel time each way across Moreton Bay.   Cruise across Moreton Bay Marine Park with an abundance of sea life, bottlenose dolphins, turtles, bird life and and opportunity for Dugong spotting.

Hamilton Wharf departure point:-   1½ hour travel time each way.  

Cruise Brisbane River under the Gateway Bridge past Fort Lytton National Park and new Port facilities at the river mouth entrance crossing into Moreton Bay Marine Park.
