FUN ACTIVITY |

Make Your Own Family Tree |
|
Items required: |
Green paper, Pen/Pencil, a Hole
punch, a Cup, a Twig with many branches, Play
Dough or Clay, Scissors, String, Safety Pin. |
|
Directions: |
Place a lump of Clay into your
Cup. Insert the Twig so it sits securely
inside. Cut out leaves from the green paper.
Each leaf represents a person in your family.
Cut enough leaves for each Sibling, Parent,
Grandparent.
Write the names of each person on
the leaves (Don’t forget to include your own
name). Punch a hole at the end of each leaf.
Tie the leaves onto the Tree. Place yourself at
the top, your Parent’s in the middle and
Grandparents at the bottom. |

Make a Prisoners Nametag. |
Using your powers of imagination, design
a Nametag for yourself as a Prisoner. Use Cardboard
with a Hole punch to attach a Safety Pin. What details
would you record on the card?
